ABS plastic dissolves easily in acetone, has one-layer structure and in most cases the sheet is rugged from one side and smooth from the other. Polystyrene is white and 1 mm thick, PVS is yellow, 0.6-0.9 mm thick. Burning polystyrene smells like burned rubber, and ABS plastic has its own specific sweet smell.
